One of our Executive Producers, Dr Joe Strickland, is presenting a talk at Reaching New Audiences, an Arts Marketing Association event, which is being presented online on 16 March.
The talk will present a series of short case studies examining three examples of digital and hybrid work that DaDa has hosted since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, what our accessibility considerations were, and what we’ve learnt and implemented from each of these different digital culture presentation methods. The talk will also expand on the term accessibility to mean not just the access features that some disabled, Deaf, or neurodivergent audiences require to fully experience digital culture, but to include a consideration of anything that could make work inaccessible to digital audiences, from geography, to finance, to technological literacy.
