ary Avison the man who keeps our finances in order here at DaDaFest, recently performed with the RiverSign Choir on Liverpool’s Church Street as part of the Sgt Pepper at 50 celebrations that marked the half century anniversary of the ground-breaking Beatles album. The performance was featured on ITV’s Good Morning.
Barry has been involved with this Wirral-based signing choir for 2 years and he and his fellow performers were delighted to be invited to be part of the celebrations.

Over at the Everyman theatre, DaDaFest Young Leader Jordan Connerty has been strutting the stage as part of the cast of Romeo and Juliet.

Jordan has been part of Young DaDaFest since 2012 and has regularly taken on acting roles, amongst other things, within our programme. In 2014, we started a partnership project with Everyman and Playhouse theatres running acting workshops with disabled and deaf young people, and Jordan’s involvement led to him being invited to join the YEP (Young Everyman Playhouse).
Jordan has said that, without the ongoing support of DaDaFest, his acting ambitions may never have come to light.
