Content note: references to scars
DaDaFest-commissioned artist, Ngozi Ugochukwu, is working on a photography exhibition for this year's DaDaFest International Festival - and she's looking for participants to share their 'scar stories' as part of it.
The project is titled 'Scars: Memories of the Skin' and will be exhibited online from 29 November to 3 December.
Ngozi Ugochukwu says:
"Do you have a scar with a story behind it? Would you be willing to share that story and for me to take a photograph of the scar?
I am looking for people willing to share their stories about scars on their bodies.
Big or small, good or bad if your scar tells a story I want to know about it.
For now, I’m asking people to send in photos – The aim is to invite some participants to socially distanced interviews and studio shoots in the not too distant future.
The images will be used in my upcoming exhibition as part of DaDaFest International.
Please be aware I may not be able to use all the images I receive as part of the project but I will endeavour to do my best."
