Announcing... Without Walls 2022!
We shared the brilliant news last year that DaDa has joined the Artistic Directorate of Without Walls, a consortium of festivals and organisations dedicated to leading excellence in UK outdoor arts.
Now we have some further very exciting news indeed: the programme for Without Walls 2022 has been announced!
Jo Burns, Chair of Without Walls, comments:
“As an organisation Without Walls are thrilled that our programme for 2022 features some of the best Outdoor Art from across the country. It is always a joy to be able to support such innovative companies and street artists and the themes explored this year are incredibly relevant. As we head out of the Covid-19 pandemic we are incredibly excited for audiences to reunite and access this work.”
2022’s programme brings together companies and street artists making vital work for the public space. The shows explore a range of themes with the aim of speaking to the strange and difficult times we are living through - and to the joy of once again sharing glorious times in the streets and spaces of towns and cities across the nation.
Among a wonderful, packed programme, make sure to look out for ‘Strollers’, the accessible outdoor festival event on which DaDa is collaborating with Black Gold Arts.
Strollers will provide a group of six global majority disabled, Deaf and neurodivergent artists from DaDa and Black Gold Arts to lead audiences on a stroll collecting stories. Culminating in a massive performance party, Strollers provides an accessible, inclusive and entertaining event that encourages audiences to take part and join in.
