Porcelain is an Irish performer/writer based in the northwest of England. She has a varied performance background spread across Theatre, Circus and Cabaret. Whether she's hammering a nail into her nose or reciting Shakespeare she always finds a way to make an impact. Porcelains cabaret acts have headlined all over the world at shows such as Wunder Kabaret, Paris, Cirque Le Soir, Dubai and Auntie Sams, Basel. Her UK credits include The Circus of Horrors and Rigoletto.
After growing frustrated at the lack of representative roles within theatre, Porcelain started writing. Her monologue 'But aren't you a dancer' is being published in Indivisible Anthology. Her first full-length play 'Breeding Machine' a one-woman comedy play about life with chronic gynaecological disease was longlisted by the Royal Court.
'I have been looking to make a step-change into making more meaningful, representative work on a larger scale. With the support of DaDa fest this feels like it will be much easier to achieve, providing me with the skills and experience needed to bring my practice forwards.'
