DDFI40: A Wee Riot with Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society

Come along to the DaDaFest hub to chat with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society’s Artist Services team about all things Fringe. In 2026, they plan to open a new, year-round artist hub in Edinburgh, and want to hear from Dadafest artists on what they’d like to see happen in this space. The drop in will allow you to find our more about how to bring a show to the Fringe, and offer an open discussion where the team who want to hear about the things that both excite and challenge you at the Edinburgh Fringe.
This drop in welcomes anyone with an interest in learning more about the Edinburgh Fringe and the different ways to get involved.

Edinburgh Fringe Society Team

Kirsty Fraser, Artist Development Manager: Kirsty is the Artist Development Manager at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society. Kirsty began her journey with the Fringe when she produced a sell-out show at the Fringe in 2017, before joining the Fringe Society’s Youth Panel in 2018. Since then, Kirsty has worked in various roles within the Artist Services team, supporting artists in coming to the Fringe, making the most of their time there and helping artists to plan their next steps beyond the Festival.

Martha Haskins, Artist Development Officer: Martha is the Artist Development Officer at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society. Martha supports artists to navigate the busy festival with their Fringe goals in mind. She specifically helps artists in approaching onward touring opportunities in the UK and supporting work for young audiences. 

 

About DDFI40:

DaDaFest International returns 8th-31st March 2025 to celebrate DaDa's 40th Anniversary and this time we are coming with ‘RAGE: A Quiet Riot’.

DDFI40 will showcase work by disabled artists that captures all shapes and sides of rage. From the internal quiet frustrations and righteous rage, to overt injustice and activism, DDFI40 will explore disability rights, disability arts, access, ableism and ‘Rage’ in an explosion of creativity.
