The National Bureau For Sitting (NBFS) is coming to the Bluecoat to assess your sitting prowess. Join the ranks of esteemed members like Prince Andrew, Jacob Rees Mogg, and Maggie Thatcher.

Access: BSL interpretation will be provided, and performances will include some Audio Description.

This is a 1:1 Performance experience that lasts approximately 15 mins.

About Dora Colquhoun

Dora Colquhoun is a neurodivergent writer, performer, and theatre maker. Recent productions written and performed by Colquhoun include: 

The Lodger (2024): A new theatre show combining: folk music, physical theatre and storytelling exploring themes of home and belonging. Colquhoun was awarded the Cambridge Junction Hidden Voices Artist Commission to develop the piece in 2024. Colquhoun will further tour the production in 2025, supported by ACE and Shelter. 

ADHD The Musical (2023): A unique blend of neuroscience, original music, and homages to iconic performers like Cher, Julie Andrews, and Dolly Parton. This production enjoyed a successful sell-out tour across England. Supported by Ace and the ADHD Foundation and Neurodiversity Charity. 

Colquhoun is a highly versatile artist with over 10 years of creative experience. Her work consistently centers around heartfelt storytelling, inviting audiences to dream and experience new realities. 

About DDFI40:

DaDaFest International returns 8th-31st March 2025 to celebrate DaDa's 40th Anniversary and this time we are coming with ‘RAGE: A Quiet Riot’.

DDFI40 will showcase work by disabled artists that captures all shapes and sides of rage. From the internal quiet frustrations and righteous rage, to overt injustice and activism, DDFI40 will explore disability rights, disability arts, access, ableism and ‘Rage’ in an explosion of creativity.
