What do you do with DaDa?
I am DaDa's Admin Assistant. I offer support across the organisation, with audience data monitoring, to help us and our funders to understand what we’re doing well, what could be improved, and who is attending our events; and supporting recording keeping so everything can run smoothly.
Tell us a bit about your background
Since graduating with a degree in Creative Writing in 2019, I have worked for socially engaged organisations in and around Merseyside, undertaking a full audit of website content at Baltic based startup Farm Urban, and then managing mailing lists, blogs, and digital data at Edge Hill Students’ Union.
I have also trained, interned, or written for several local and cultural publications, including Bido Lito!, the Liverpool Post, and more. As a writer, I have been covered place, comics, and disability, from personal perspectives.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I am a part of Comics Youth CIC’s Youth Board, advising on strategy, governance, and projects, and I currently participate in their Safe Spaces project, planning an inclusive and accessible launch event for their young person led publisher. I still write about art and culture when I can and am making more time to do that going forward.
