What do you do with DaDa?
I am a freelance producer at DaDa, assisting in producing the DDFI 25 festival programme. I work closely with the executive producer, access coordinator and marketing team in planning events and activities. I liaise with venues, artists and producers in drawing up contracts, creating schedules, and managing events.
Tell us a bit about your background
I am a Northwest based Performer, Producer, Writer and Events Manager with over 15 years experience in the arts sector. I have worked with Liverpool Philharmonic, Everyman and Playhouse, Shakespeare North, The Epstein Theatre and The Unity Theatre in both producing, event management and artist liaison. I also worked with Writing on the Wall as a festival and events coordinator, planning and delivering 2 Black History Month programmes and two WoWFEST programmes. I currently teach Musical Theatre and Singing at LMA, as well as producing/performing with Stage Door Theatre Trust. I’m also writing an album which I’ll be looking to tour later this year.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Although it's work, I’m very passionate about singing, writing and acting. I also love reading, yoga, Everton (I’m doomed for a life of misery, I know) and cooking.
