What is your role at DaDa?
I’m DaDa’s Assistant producer focussing on Theatre and Community Arts and DaDa’s Alder Hey project Coordinator.
What does that mean?
I focus on our Theatre and Live Arts projects, planning and coordinating events, workshops and programmes. This includes our DaDa X NSDF Company, our Theatre Makers programme, our commissioned artists and more. Providing digital and face to face access, supporting artists to work individually and collectively across the UK. Working closely with Alder Hey and CAMHS enabling patients to experience a wide range of art forms and develop a creative skill set.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I like to hang out with my daughter, she’s really wonderful. She notices things about the world that I don’t, and she’s brave and funny. She named our Campervan “Steven” and we love to go on wild adventures in him as a family all over the place. I love riding my bike, especially in Wales, it makes me feel alive. I adore having time with my friends. Friendship is everything. I love experimenting with art, especially making weird jewellery. I love writing comedy, performing it, I need to dedicate more time to it!
Contact me if...
Contact me if you’d like to find out more about our Theatre and Community Arts programme, or our Young Company. Also get in touch if you are interested in any of our Community Arts workshops and projects as a participant or facilitator. I am always looking to broaden our creative practitioners for our hospital work too!
