What do you do with DaDa?
I am a freelance coordinator for DaDas young ensemble, the ensemble is a group of young people that come together to create music and learn new songs. My role is to make sure the logistics of getting to the space and communication across teams runs smoothly. But, also to observe and see the amazing young people thrive and develop.
Tell us a bit about your background
I qm a neurodivergent drama facilitator and community activist with a degree in Applied Theatre and Community Drama. I have worked with marginalised communities and facilitated a range of theatre programmes that promote social change. The aims of the work are to make the arts more equal and diverse by introducing it to groups who wouldn’t normally be exposed to the arts due to financial and cultural reasons.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I’m so lucky to say my work is my hobbies, I do what I love. I am passionate about supporting and coach communities to compost a piece of theatre and intergrade it into individuals’ life’s, with the theatre having a base issue to educate and give participants a voice. Phoebe has experience of working on community theatre and professional theatre that encourages empowerment, social change, and education.
