Edge Hill Arts Centre

The Arts Centre houses the University’s Performing Arts Department and the Rose and Studio Theatres.

They host a diverse range of high quality professional productions, including comedy, dance, drama, literature, music, film, live theatre screenings, and family-friendly shows, designed to entertain students as well as local and regional communities.

Since extensive refurbishment of the Rose Theatre in 2012, visitors can expect significant improvements to the all-round theatre experience. The £2million overhaul included a brand new open-plan and spacious bistro, comfier seating and a striking new red aluminium façade. There’s even an outdoor amphitheatre for those innovative alfresco productions.
